My experiment is about how acid rain effects germination. In my experiment I am testing how badly acid rain effects plants on our planet. This experiment is going to be very interesting because I will get to observe how much a little acid rain can affect the whole environment. I hope to achieve really accurate results so I understand how much this impacts the whole world.
Many people already know that acid rain is bad, but most people don't know how bad it really is. This is why I am doing this experiment; to see how serious its affects are. If my results are accurate, I will know why so many are dying or getting very close to extinction. This is why I am doing my experiment.
In my experiment I hypothesize that the seeds getting watered with normal water will grow more effectively then the seeds getting watered with the acid rain. I hypothesize this because water is much better food then acid rain is. Acid rain is made up of our waste dumped in our lakes and oceans. When the water evaporates it takes up all of the garbage with it. When it rains, all of the acid waters our plants. I hypothesize that this will adversely affect plants growth.
My experiment is going to be very interesting. It is about something that is really serious on our Earth today. I will find out how much this acid rain affects plants here on our Earth. I am sure that I will discover many new things that I didn't know before I started this experiment. But most importantly, I am excited to work closely with one variable to really witness the affect that it has on a germinating seed. This is why I am interested in my experiment.
