In conclusion to this all, the use of sugar in baked goods is better than Splenda in baked goods. The appearance, taste, and texture of the muffins and cookies with using sugar are more attractive and appetizing than using Splenda in them. If you are concerned about the calories from using regular sugar versus Splenda, I would advise making a smaller amount of baked goods but use high quality, natural ingredients.
