Conclusion

On all accounts my hypothesis was correct. The vinegar did erode the penny, the penny in the water didn’t change, and the lemon juice made the penny shinier. Though, some things did happen that I had not predicted. For example, the vinegar turned blue, and the lemon juice became cloudy.

If I were to do this experiment again, I would do some things differently. Like, doubling the ingredients and putting three cups in the sun and three in the shade. I would change my hypothesis slightly to include the things I did not predict. I would also lengthen the experiment to two weeks, so that I could see what would happen in the new time period.
