Short term memory, long term memory,
and memory loss can be depended on your age. According to research people less
than twenty years of age have better memory than people over twenty. The reason
for this is that when you turn twenty you start slowly losing brain cells. And
after years and years you start forgetting various things. So this really
affects you short term and long term memory.
When you are under twenty years old you should
remember a lot of things. So it should be easy remember things from long ago and
very easy to remember things that recently happened. But, when you get older it
is much harder to remember things from long ago due to brain cell loss. But if
you are in good health you should remember stuff that recently happened. Also
aging may affect memory by changing the way the brain stores information and by
making it harder to recall stored information. So this is how your age affects
your memory.
