When researching on our project we discovered many things. One thing we discovered is that batteries are the main source of energy in a device that needs batteries. We also discovered that batteries are needed in many devices to produce enough energy to do what it is intended to do. Most electronic devices use batteries which proves that they are a liable invention.
Batteries are powered by electrochemical cells that are found inside of it. These cells store energy inside of the battery until put inside of a device and turned on for usage. This is why batteries have a positive and a negative sign on them. To show where the positive and negative charge comes from and which side it ejects from.
Throughout our research we also discovered that a battery is a device that converts chemical energy directly into electrical energy. Batteries are used to power a variety of devices, including radios, automobile starters, and electronic equipment on satellites. They also power everyday devices, such as, cameras, remotes, and even laptops. Batteries can vary in size from being less then six millimeters to over one hundred tons. This is what we have learned from our hours and hours of research .
