Conclusion
In conclusion, we thought that the higher compression ball would go further although our results did not match up with that. In the first experiment when we hit the ball with our clubs our hypothesis was incorrect and we hit the softest compression balls the farthest. We think that this was because of the difference in our swing speeds not because of the compression ratings of the golf balls. The second experiment we did proved to us that by taking out the swing all of the balls bounced about the same. Compression has a little to do with how far a golf ball bounces, but does not have that much of an effect on how far you hit. If you want to improve your game go see a golf professional to improve the techniques of your swing. This will help the ball go farther than simply choosing a different or supposedly better ball.
