Experiment

For our experiment, we hit 60 golf balls with a nine-iron to see which ball would go the farthest. We used 20 Titleist DT Carry balls, 20 Titleist NXT Tour balls and 20 Titleist NXT Extreme balls. We attempted to use the same swing each time with the same speed for as much accuracy as possible. The measurement taken was in yards and we took the averages. (Person 1-Table1, Person 2-Table 2). We did a second experiment to test just the ball height as it was dropped, without using a club. To do this, we dropped 10 of each of the balls off a 4-foot high trashcan and measured how high they went up in inches and we figured their averages. (Table 3).
