Introduction

Every year, little kids across the nation are entertained with a fabulous invention – the liquid motion lamp or lava lamp. These lava lamps have fascinated people with their diverse colors and flowing wax. They intrigue people with their space ship like appearance too. We researched what makes a lava lamp work and proceeded to build our own and then compared it with Sean’s factory-made one to find their similarities and differences, as well as see if a homemade one would operate similar to a real one.
