Intro/Purpose

Billions of people use the internet everyday. There are so many things to do on the internet: download music, watch television, and email or chat. Yet, most of us research. We research people, places, and if were at school research for papers and projects. There is a question that all of us answer everyday when we go to a search something: “Where do we go to search?” Well there is an easy answer to that question a search engine. Some of us will go on Google, MSN, Ask, Yahoo, Dogpile, AOL, or Goodsearch and more. With all these options and more how do we know which one is the best one to use. That’s where I come in, for my science fair project I did an experiment called: “Which Search Engine is the Best?”  I took the search engines I listed above and rated them 1-10 (one being the worst and ten being the best) on accuracy, relevance, and popularity. Then I did a speed chart to see which one loads their links the fastest. So, if you want to figure what is the best search engine then, follow along with me through my webpage and find out.
