Intro
Does
altitude effect bread rising? We will perform an experiment to figure the answer
to this question out. To do this we will make rolls at three different houses
and record our data. We will compare to see if the altitude had anything to do
with the rising factor. The main question is what causes the differences in the
rising? Is it the yeast, does anything ever affect the yeast? Yeast is a
substance used to make bread rise, It is also used in brewing. It multiplies the
budding to make the dough rise. Some recipes don’t need yeast to rise; the steam
is enough for example. So for our science fair, we will take you through the
process of making bread and finding what variables affect its rising.
