Introduction

Who's tale a Beluga Whales or a Great White Sharks. Pushes the water more efficiently? That is what I want to figure out. The way I plan to figure this out is by creating an experiment. My experiment is to have swim fins represent the fin of a Beluga Whale and a Great White Shark. I will measure how much water is pushed in one swish of the swim fin. Since the fin of a Beluga Whale is swished horizontally up and down I will move the fin up and down. For a Great White Shark their fin swishes from side to side. So I will move the fin vertically and swish the swim fin from side to side. My hypothesis is that the Beluga Whales fin displaces the water more efficiently then the Great White Shark. One the Beluga whales has al larger and flatter surface area then a Great White Shark does. Two when you want to swim faster in a swim competition would you wear your swim fins vertical or horizontal? I find my Science Fair project very interesting because I think that my ideas have never been thought of for the Science Fair. Also that one day I plan to become a veterinarian which includes all animals. I take a very good interest in the subject of marine animals.   Beluga Whales do not hunt or hurt humans, this is proven by     http://web.ebscohost.com/srck5/detail?vid=3&hid=107&sid=ba65c499-5121-4ec4-a1f7-936474364df5%40sessionmgr7
