Experiment

Supplies
- one 5 gallon tank
- five gallons of de-chlorinated water
- two feeder rings
- three goldfish

Have you ever wondered if goldfish can be trained? Our experiment answers just that. Our goal was to see if goldfish respond to a card and be trained to go in the direction we tell them to go. For three weeks, we tried to see if our three goldfish would respond to a black card being held up at either side of the tank.

During week one, the first four days we taped the black card on the left side of the tank. When it was feeding time, we dropped the food in the feeder rings. The last three days of this week, we held the card up on the left side of the tank. during week three, we held the card up each day during feeding time. the order for holding up the card was left, right, right, left, left, right, left.

While experimenting, we documented our experiment by taking daily notes on the fishes' behavior. During feeding time, we would record what each fish was doing, if they were responding, not responding, or acting differently than they normally would. follow our steps exactly and we guarantee results.
