Purpose/ Hypothesis

We firmly believe that goldfish are more intelligent than we give them credit for. Our experiment will put this theory to the test. We will study several average goldfish to see if they can be trained to see a black card and go to one side of the aquarium to feed. Can we do it? We think so! The inspiration for our project came from a Mythbusters episode where they guys tried to train goldfish to go through a maze underwater and were successful. Our hypothesis is that the goldfish will respond to the card with little struggle.
